Indigo Resist Dyeing with Tania Vasconcelos

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday October 10

10:30 AM  –  12:30 PM

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of indigo dyeing by using folding and binding techniques to create beautiful resist patterns on fabric. "Resist" simply means preventing dye to absorb in certain areas of fabric. You will be amazed at the stunning one-of-a-kind patterns you can create!

One cotton item will be provided for dyeing. You may also bring one small item (size of a t-shirt or smaller) of your own to dye, which must be of a natural fiber such as cotton or silk.

This workshop is open to ages 10 and over. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
