WEEK 1 JULY 16-20

Cute & Creepy Critters

Leaping, sleeping, running, crawling, flying, wiggling, swimming, dancing… All manner of animal art, real and imaginary! The natural world, endangered species and habitats, myths and legends created out of clay, mixed media, and pâpiér maché.

 

If you are a member, select the member price. If you are a non-member, select non-member price.

 

If you would like to deposit, it is $50. If you have registered for a class, and want to add another class but only want to do a deposit for the second class, select "Deposit Additional" and the cost is $20 deposit. Please do not select the $25 Deposit UNLESS you have spoken to Deb Smook.

WEEK 2: JULY 23-27

Escapes to Sea, Land, City, or Far, Far Away

All types of “scapes” in painting, drawing, and collage. Plein air painting and drawing (weather permitting). Molding clay dioramas or nature-scape themed vessels, plates, tiles and pots.

 

Ages 6–9

Artistic Traditions of the World

Students explore the world and learn about diverse cultures through their artistic traditions. They will experiment with yarn, tin, clay, resist painting printmaking and recycled materials.

 

If you are a member, select the member price. If you are a non-member, select non-member price.

 

If you would like to deposit, it is $50. If you have registered for a class, and want to add another class but only want to do a deposit for the second class, select "Deposit Additional" and the cost is $20 deposit. Please do not select the $25 Deposit UNLESS you have spoken to Deb Smook.

WEEK 5:AUGUST 13-17

Run-a-Way Fashion Design

Have a flair for fashion? Create designs, fabrics and costumes. Students will apply their imagination using recycled materials, painting, drawing and the computer to create unique fashions and accessories. They will explore retail fashion outlets in the downtown area.
